Frequently asked questions
Where is my clipboard history stored? On your device. With iCloud sync enabled, non-secure items are also stored in your own private iCloud database. Secure items sync only when the separate Secure sync setting is enabled.
Why does the iOS keyboard ask for Full Access? iOS requires it so the keyboard can read the clips saved by the main app. The keyboard does not log what you type and never uses the network.
Why does the Mac app ask for Accessibility? Only for “paste automatically”: it sends a Command-V keystroke to the app you are pasting into. You can skip it and paste manually.
How do I delete my data? Delete clips or clear history inside the app. Uninstalling may leave shared-container or Keychain data; delete items in the app first. iCloud data can be removed in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
How do I unlock the Secure area? Use Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode/login password through the operating system’s authentication prompt. Moonshot Labs cannot bypass that authentication.
